The "Hank" and "John" in this case are, of course, Hank Green and John Green, brothers, authors, and YouTubers. (You may have heard about one of John's little novels, The Fault in Our Stars.) On their podcast, they answer listener questions like how to quit a job, how to find time to do little things, and can bees feel happiness and sadness. Listen here!

The Moth is known for its open-mic StorySLAMs: Nationwide, storytellers show up and put their names in a “hat” to be chosen for stage-time. The lottery winners tell their stories to an eclectic audience and a panel of judges. The event has become so popular that it’s difficult to score a ticket online, but no worries! The Moth Radio Hour is something of a greatest-hits collection. From near-death experiences to decades-long love stories, The Moth Radio Hour features a breadth of diverse, life-affirming stories that’ll make you laugh, sob, or, depending on the episode, sometimes both. Listen here!

This is pure cringeworthy comedy gold: Mortified is a storytelling podcast in which adults share the most humiliating things they created as kids and teens—we’re talking those old “Dear Diary” entries, love letters, song lyrics, you name it—with complete and utter strangers. Listen here!

In Concrete Rose, Angie Thomas takes us back to Garden Heights to meet Starr Carter's dad seventeen years before the action in The Hate U Give.
