Monthly books

May is Mental Health Awareness Month

Each year, the U.S. designates May to raise awareness about the importance of mental health and its impact on the well-being of all Americans. For some of us, talking about mental health and mental illness is hard. But we are stronger together, and one of the most empowering things about speaking up is the knowledge that you are not alone, no matter how you may feel otherwise. The library also has plenty of nonfiction resources on the topic of mental health and wellness:

Don't fall for fake news. At best, you'll look silly when you spout nonsense in a conversation. In a worst-case scenario, though, you'll make an important life decision--like whether or not to wear a face mask during a

pandemic or who to

vote for president--

without all the facts.
