March is Women's History Month!
Read and review a book that both stars and is written by a woman and be entered to win in our Second Semester Reading Challenge!
Return Your Books and WIN!
We are missing a ton of books from last year and years before. Turn in books and pay fees from before the 20/21 school year and be entered into our weekly drawing to win an Amazon gift card! Not sure what you owe or what old books you have out? Check out these instructions for accessing your library account.
A drop box is available for you to leave your books outside the back door of the library 24/7. If you prefer to hand your books to a person, or you have fees to pay, you can make an appointment to visit the library using the form on the home page.
The deadline for this offer is Friday, April 2, so get your books in and your fees paid ASAP!
Student Checkouts @ the Library
Sara, grade 9, picked up Karen McManus' One of Us Is Next. She just finished the first book in the series and needed to know how the story would end!
Don't worry--Sara doesn't have our only copy. You can borrow the electronic version on the Sora app or SoraApp.com!
Anjolie, grade 10, read The Poet X, by Elizabeth Acevedo. She liked that it expanded her horizons beyond the romances she usually reads: "It was romance and the main character healing the relationship with her mom and religion. And then she starts writing poetry and it helps her, so it's like the power of art. And she gets a boyfriend!"
Congratulations
to Naomi, grade 11, the winner of an Amazon gift card in February's Second Semester Reading Challenge raffle. You can read her excellent review of Things Fall Apart in our online catalog. Want to win like Naomi? Get the Challenge details on the library's website!
